I'm actually joining a batch of fellow 2000AD droids, and in particular I'll be doing a workshop with writer Al Ewing, attempting to create an improvised comic book page in front of a live audience, in um, 45 minutes. Should be interesting....
Never thought I'd see the day that I'd be back at Pontins, but I'm really looking forward to it. Now i just have to think of intelligent things to say to all the authors and tv stars that will be there....

Such a shame this. Camber's only down the road from me and ordinarily i'd been booked for it long ago. But can't justify that sort of expense right now :/
Hope you have a great time Leigh, sadly I am all ramped up for the Hell-Trek to Hi-Ex! (I'm the organiser of it) and that's taken all my time up sorting all the bits out for that otherwise I might have gone to this.
I look forward to seeing what you and Al create, oh and by the way.

All the best, John
No worries Mangamax. I've heard it's pretty much sold out now anyway apart from the odd day pass.
Thanks John. Yeah, I've seen your cool shirts that you had made up--that's dedication! Really hope it turns out great for you all.
And yeah, our workshop...don't get your hopes up mate--I honestly don't know what can be achieved in 45 minutes!

Just wanted to say how brilliant your 45min session was with Al. Couldn't believe how much detail you did in such a small time!! You also did an amazing drawing of Judge dread for me which was aces. Thanks again and hope to see you at another event. :D
Sparklyblossum, that is ridiculously kind and generous of you!
Al in his lovely shirt and beard stole the show to be honest, and my knees are still aching, but I'm made up you enjoyed it! You wouldn't beliiieeeeve how stressful it was thinking about it the week earlier.
Some photos shall be going up after I have a long sleep....
Thank you so much and take care.
