DEFOE: A MURDER OF ANGELS TEASERS!!!

Gggnnnnn....must not...show....the ...really cool...stuff...I've just drawn!

I REALLY wish I could show you the latest pages of Defoe (coming out in September's 2000AD) but Tharg would cut off one of my balls (leaving me with only three) so you'll have to make do with these non-spoilery panels....

Can't wait till September. Thoroughly enjoying the whole Defoe stuff and your art suits the story to a T.
By the way, the second picture has got a strong 'Hammer Horror' feel to it!

Thank you gentlemen. Well John, if you like lots of shadowy brickwork in your stories, you'll love this as I've had to draw millions of the bastards...

Graeme, nice to see you're expanding your vocabulary mate.

Has Defoe been at your convention donuts? He looks a bit heavier (and hairy) than in his previous outings... lovely moody work as always!

I KNEW someone would bring that up....that guy is actually a new character called The Executioner I think...

And cheers Kev!

Nice panels. Nice brickwork.
Have you had thoughts about who would play Defoe in the movie? You worry they'd they cast someone more conventionally hunky

Thanks Alan. Well it'll NEVER happen, but we originally envisioned him to look a bit like Ray Winstone, with a bit of Bruce Willis.

The fat bloke in this preview is based on Timothy Spall...

Wow.

This is the first time I've seen your work and it's massively impressive! Can't wait to see more.

Thanks Rob. I'd feel a little better about it if I wasn't behind on my deadlines though!
