Ello Leigh :) Anyways, the new artist has been revealed, and he has left a teaser panel. He's great, but you are better :) BTW, the exgirlfriend of BIONICLE is Sayger.

Thanks DJ, and take care yourself dude!

Ello Greg....aahhh, so it's finally out. Well give him a chance Greg--I actually THINK that that page he's posted is his sample page for when he was being tried out for the job, so he wouldn't have had the toys for reference. I can't wait to see his final pages!

Oh, I did :) I'd give him a 90% on the pic, compared with your overall grade, which would be a 96%, so you guys are close :) The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the pic is a little too busy, compared to your final battle panel. Trust me, I gave Sayger my heart, until he drew one of my favorite characters like this: http://biosector01.com/wiki/images/7/7a/Stuart%27s_Vakama.png (that was from his final comic, but he had been up to that style before :( ) I wasn't attacking the guy, I love him, just not as much as you :)

Hello Leigh,

I'm sorry to see you moving on from BIONICLE, your works were definetly some of my favorite. Thanks ^_^

Hey Leigh, a guy on BZP made one of the greatest BIONICLE drawings I have ever seen out of a fan. I offered to show it to you, as it is so good. He would be pleased to see you comments, so here is "TOA IN A HAU": http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=304000

GW...really appreciate that. I said it before and I'll say it again: Bionicle fans are the nicest fans I've ever come across!
Hey, one day I'd like to return with a project of my own, using the "Bionicle style" as I know my "Defoe style" isn't suited to alot of younger fans.So it won't be the last you see of me!

Take care,
L

Hey Greg, that's very cool! Fantastic detail--it's like Bionicle inked in my Defoe style! He's got alot of talent.
Give that guy a gold star and a biscuit!

Your own project!?!? I'm guessing when DEFOE is over?

Nothing to get excited about right now Greg.I'll start developing it in about 6 months maybe, but I still have my own childrens picture book to finish at some point...

I can just picture it: 'Lil Defoe by Leigh Gallagher XD The funny part is that there are a bunch of little kids books based on PG-13 and R rated media, (or at least at the book store I was looking at for my little cousin)

Ahh, I really wish I could talk about it, post development pics, etc, but basically it's a picture book that's been left half finished for 2 years as I've been having to put it aside everytime paid work came along.

It's the type of thing I should really finish before I start developing my own graphic novel, otherwise I'll just have a string of unfinished work that my girlfriend will keep bringing up!
